
Something special is flying and crawling your way this July! From The Gardens at Texas A&M University and the Junior Master Gardener (JMG) program, comes a virtual Growing Good Kids Camp for elementary students.
Join us for 6 fun-filled interactive online sessions to investigate “bugging out in your garden” while earning a JMG Golden Ray Series Certification. Space is limited and registration opens the week of June 22. Friends of the Garden get early access to register!

- A camp kit that includes everything you need for 6 sessions, including the Junior Master Gardener Youth Handbook that allows your student to continue additional insect investigations at home.

Virtual Camp Sessions
- July 14, 15, 16 at 10 am CT
- July 21, 22, 23 at 10 am CT
Sessions will also be available to rewatch later if you aren’t able to join live or miss on or just want to watch the fun again! Your camp box will have all instructions to connect.
(Note: Live sessions will be broadcast via a private Facebook group to your grown-up’s account.)
Cost
$95 per camper, for live session access and supplies, plus shipping and handling.
FAQs
Q: What if my child is not with the same adult for each session? Can multiple Facebook accounts be accepted into the group?
A: Yes! We understand that the same Facebook account might not be used for each session. Just include the same last name for each account to be verified.
Q: What if I miss a session?
A: All of the educational sessions will be recorded and can be watched (and rewatched) as many times as wanted for the duration of camp.
Q: What if I do not have a Facebook account?
A: A Facebook account can be created for free at facebook.com to join the group and watch camp sessions.
